These Terms apply to the website thedonorscout.com, the egg donor application forms we provide, and the text messages we send. The Donor Scout is a trade name of A. van der Veen V.O.F., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 870031922, Schierstins 20, 8604 BX Sneek, The Netherlands ("The Donor Scout", "we", "us").
1. What we do
The Donor Scout recruits prospective egg donors and refers qualified applicants to partner fertility agencies, such as Elite Fertility Solutions. We are not a medical provider, a fertility clinic or an egg donor agency. Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will be accepted, contacted, matched or compensated.
2. Your application
You agree to provide information that is true, complete and your own. You must be at least 18 years old to apply. We may decline or withdraw any application, for example when it does not meet a partner agency's criteria. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Use of the website
Do not misuse the website or forms, attempt to access data that is not yours, or submit information on behalf of someone else. All content on the website belongs to The Donor Scout unless stated otherwise.
4. SMS terms
- Program: The Donor Scout application updates. If you opt in on our application form, we send you text messages about your egg donor application, such as status updates, interview scheduling and reminders.
- Consent: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of applying.
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the number that messaged you. After you send STOP, we will send you one message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive text messages from us. To join again, reply START or opt in on our form again.
- Help: If you are experiencing issues, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or contact us at info@thedonorscout.com.
- Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: See our Privacy Policy at thedonorscout.com/privacy.
5. Liability
The website and our services are provided as they are. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, or for decisions made by partner agencies, clinics or intended parents.
6. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
