Egg Donor Requirements
Egg donation is an important commitment, so donors need to meet certain health, lifestyle and practical requirements.
- Age 20–30
- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
- Height 5'1" or taller
- BMI 25 or lower
- Non-smoker, nicotine or recreational drug use
- No untreated STI
- No diagnosed infertility or genetic disorder
- No serious personal medical diagnosis
- Reliable transportation
- Be available for early morning appointments
- Know the medical history of your biological parents, grandparents and siblings
- Have access to a variety of photos, ranging from infancy to current day, for your profile
Egg Donor Compensation
Egg donors can receive $8,500–$20,000 in compensation after completing an egg donation cycle, regardless of whether the intended parents conceive using your eggs.
Your compensation may vary based on factors such as previous donation experience, academic and athletic achievements, and donor characteristics that are currently in demand.
There are also no out-of-pocket medical costs associated with participating in the donation cycle.
If your donation requires travel, the related expenses for you and a companion are covered. This can include: airfare, hotel accommodation, ground transportation and meals.
